The affairs of the Kalamazoo Dispatch Authority are managed by its Board of Directors. KCCDA Board of Directors meet in January, March, May, July, September, October, November and December. Meetings are held at 3:30 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month in the Chief Switalski Meeting room at KCCDA.

KCCDA’s duties and powers are authorized in the organization’s Bylaws and the “Interlocal Agreement Creating the Kalamazoo County Consolidated Dispatch Authority” (Interlocal Agreement) as established by the City of Kalamazoo, the Charter Township of Kalamazoo, the City of Portage, Western Michigan University, and the County of Kalamazoo, effective November 19, 2014.

The KCCDA Board of Directors consists of thirteen (13) Directors (Principal Appointees). The Directors are appointed, and serve, in accordance with the provisions of the Interlocal Agreement. Each governmental entity that appoints a Director(s) to the Board shall also appoint an alternate for each Principal Appointee. The Alternate shall act on behalf of the Principal Appointee if he/she is unavailable or absent.

KCCDA has regular meeting dates on the second (2nd) Thursday of every other month, unless otherwise noted. The following are the 2024 meeting dates:

• January 11th
• March 14th

• May 9th

• July 11th
• September 12th

• November 14th

Persons and/or agencies requesting to be placed on, or have a topic added, to the meeting agenda must complete an agenda request form. Forms shall be accompanied by information that justifies the request. Lack of this information may cause a delay in your request being acted upon by the Board of Directors. Agenda requests must be received by 9:00 a.m. on Monday of the week preceding the meeting date. Completed forms should be emailed to the KCCDA Administration at admin@kccda911.org.
